If it involves computers and creativity, chances are I'm interested.
I'm Samuel (Sammy) Levin, a Brooklyn-based media/product designer and undergraduate student in New York University's program for Integrated Digital Media. From filmmaking, to 3D modeling, to media technology, I’ll get my hands on just about anything that integrates technology and design. Above all, I’m a passionate innovator, strong collaborator, and attentive learner.

What's going on this year?
C U R R E N T W O R K
1 - New York Times / Spatial Computing Team Lead
The Times R&D Lab worked with students to catalyze the evolution of journalism through spatial computing. My project, the Metro ARchive, integrates 3D modeling and augmented reality to shed light on unsung, historic city sites.
2 - Mickey's Movement / Motion Capture Technician
At this rising startup, I am assisting in developing wearable technology for Parkinson's Disease patients. Using motion capture technology, I'm recording pathological gait patterns for further analysis by the data science team.
